We are currently hiring for a Sales Support Manager to join our Alpharetta, GA office. This position plays a crucial role in managing and supporting our regional distribution partners and customers. The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for identifying customer needs, building strong relationships, and ensuring smooth communication between internal teams and external partners. Success in this role requires product knowledge, problem-solving skills, clear communication, follow-up, and strong situational awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Opportunities Pipeline Management with Distributor Partners

  • Supports bi-weekly/monthly calls with distributor partners and divisional leads to track progress, address needs, and maintain accurate Salesforce pipeline and sales activity updates. 

  • Maintain and update the sales pipeline in Salesforce, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

  • Identify and assess risks within the sales pipeline, take proactive measures, and communicate appropriately to upper management.

  • Support divisional leads with call tracking and sales activities.

  • Oversee forecasting and provide regular updates on production pipelines.

  • Identify important information from trip reports and proactively add next steps to help move opportunities forward without prompting.

  • Prioritize revenue-impacting activities and ensure consistent follow-through and follow-up.

  • Create detailed and accurate quotations for distributors.

Sales Order Process and Fulfillment

  • Ensure the correct opportunity has been closed out in Salesforce for all purchase orders.

  • Resolve order or pricing issues in a timely and professional manner.

  • Ensure the accuracy of all received orders, coordinating with the appropriate teams to fulfill them on time.

  • Respond to the Orders team on agencies, configurations, and any needed information.

  • Forecast orders and align delivery expectations with distributor partners.

Distributor and Customer Communication

  • Maintain accurate sales documentation and support part number price list management between the production team and Sales to ensure distributors have the most up-to-date pricing for accurate purchase orders.

  • Manage all project-related documentation, including licensing, NDAs, and sole-source agreements, ensuring compliance and accuracy.

  • Report and escalate any technical issues or Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) needs.

  • Schedule key meetings, presentations, and discussions with customers and distributors.

  • Ensure distributor representatives have the latest marketing materials and sales documentation.

  • Identify onboarding and training needs for new distributor representatives and communicate those needs to the Training Coordinator to support the scheduling and delivery of training sessions for distributors and customers, including AI-focused education and other specialized programs 

Data Plan Management

  • Communicate upcoming data plan renewals to distributor representatives in a timely manner.

  • Work closely with the Renewals Manager to support distribution and ensure all renewals and data are accurate, including swaps, replacements, and quote generation with accurate data.

  • Collaborate closely with the administration team to streamline processes.

  • Consolidate quotes and manage device details effectively.

Travel and Trade Shows

  • Travel as needed for trade shows, distributor meetings, customer visits, and other business-related activities.

  • Support management initiatives and represent the company professionally at industry events.

  • Coordinate and manage trade show setup, attendance, and related activities.
