Logistics Coordinator

As a pivotal member of our shipping and receiving team, you'll report directly to the logistics manager. Your primary responsibilities will focus on the efficient handling of incoming and outgoing shipments. This hands-on role involves overseeing the receipt, storage, and shipment of products, adhering strictly to established procedures and quality standards.

Pay: $20 per hour

Schedule: 8 hour shift - 7:30am to 4:30pm

Location: Alpharetta, GA 30009

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Receiving incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, and ensuring accuracy.

  • Processing, packaging, and preparing outgoing orders for shipment.

  • Managing inventory levels and conducting regular stock checks.

  • Using shipping software and equipment to create shipping labels and track packages.

  • Collaborating with carriers to ensure a timely and accurate delivery of shipments.

  • Inspecting goods for damage or defects and reporting discrepancies to the appropriate parties.

  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace in the shipping and receiving area.

  • Assisting in other tasks related to shipping, receiving, and inventory management as directed.

  • Periodic collaboration with the Production department for testing and assembly tasks.

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Experience in shipping and receiving roles preferred. Familiarity with inventory management practices.

  • Proficiency in using shipping software and equipment.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to lift and move heavy packages.

  • Good communication skills for coordinating with carriers and team members.

  • Ability to lift, carry, and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and reaching
